Kozhaev Ildar Ildar Kozhaev (Radli) explores the transformation of the human body and consciousness under the influence of technology in his work. He is interested in virtual
identities, online gambling, digital intimacy, and mechanisms of addiction. He uses painting, digital manipulation and hybrid forms, combining material and virtual images.
The series ‘Cyber love’ presented at the BORSCH gallery asks the question: what remains of a person in digital space? Where does the body end and the code begin? For me, it is a kind of diary
of my era, where feelings are not always expressed, turning into simulation. It is an attempt to convey the trembling of fingers from an unspoken message, the goosebumps from an old photograph you stumble upon in old chat rooms, the pain of loss that we try to resurrect. It is an ironic but intimate space where there are no words left - only images, wires, bodies and endless flashes.
